infectious design + strategy

(the signal)

When important work almost works.

(the work)
I step in mid-motion —
after a recall,
under regulatory scrutiny,
when scaling has outrun its infrastructure,
when the story and the product have drifted apart.
I read what's happening beneath the ask —
then build what resolves it,
and leave the system running without me.
(the method)

Question.

Observe.

Reframe.

Build.

Curiosity is contagious. Precision is rarer.

The work almost never arrives as described.
It arrives as friction.

A system that's almost working.
A team that's almost aligned.
A product that's almost right.
A customer who almost returned.
A story that's almost credible.

‍Almost is where I start.

The work is to turn
"we think this will work"
into "we know this will work."

Work

What changed.
What held.
What kept working after I left.

(the metrics)

The work, Measured.

Selected outcomes across engagements.
Details shared where permitted.

(the pattern)

Service

Outcomes are visible.
The conditions behind them aren't.
That's what I build.

The work starts where pressure shows.

Clarity

When decisions loop.

(direction)

When everything is urgent,
the meetings multiply, priorities compete, and decisions don't stick.

I make the decision points visible,
and clarify what each one depends on.

The path clears. The team moves.

Systems

When products slip.

(structure)

When timelines tighten, risk hides in the handoffs.
Shortcuts become the system.

I preserve intent from concept through launch, sustainment, and scale —
so shortcuts don't become defects,
and defects don't quietly become how we do things.

Products ship cleaner. Reliability holds.

Adoption

When customers don't return.

(behavior)

When the path to value is obscure, customers hesistate, work around, or leave.

Trust erodes. Support costs rise.

I observe what customers do, trace where the experience breaks from intent, and rebuild the path to value.

Adoption climbs while cost-to-serve falls.

Narrative

When the market hesitates.

(meaning)

When story and delivery drift, buyers slow decisions and push on price. Something feels off before  they can name it

I reconnect what you say to what you can reliably deliver — grounded in operating reality.

Value stands up to scrutiny and earns its price.

(the promise)

When pressure rises,

the almost ends here.

Make it clear.

Make it work.

Make it last.
